Do you still want to keep this JEDI open? Brian Johnstone 20/12/2017 9:15:26 AM Blake - thanks for the reminder. I had started using that alternate shortcut for rename and then for reasons unknown got back in the habit of Ctrl+F2,R. Blake De?Ath 19/12/2017 12:37:00 PM Shift+F2 is a keyboard shortcut that takes you straight to the RefactorRename box FileVision UK Ltd 19/12/2017 6:05:09 AM Thanks everyone Paul Daigneault 18/12/2017 9:44:25 PM Or better yet the Rename Refactor command can be individually bound to a hot key of your choosing (see preferences, key bindings). e.g I bind the rename command to Ctrl - Enter, and the Refactor menu to Alt - Enter. Much faster then using the either the mouse or default hot keys. Sam Stokell 16/12/2017 7:28:31 PM I just use "alt e-e-r" ... takes a bit to get used to but once you do it a bit it becomes second nature Brian Johnstone 16/12/2017 8:52:43 AM If you use the Ctrl+F2 keyboard shortcut you get a popup menu containing just the refactor commands. I always use this rather than the right-click context menu. The full keyboard sequence for renaming then becomes Ctrl+F2 followed by the letter 'r'. Hope that helps. |
Closing this as there is an existing shortcut.
