Improve user experience when viewing prior patch versions of a method.
At the moment viewing a method's source patch history is a multi-step UX process; (on our large legacy code base it can take 24 seconds to display the patch summary when clicking 'Show History' on a given method)
To view prior patch versions of a method you have to select show history from the method browser then when the summary of patches is displayed double-click an entry to compare the source between different patch versions of the method.
Making this available directly from the editor would make the process far slicker and require the developer to access fewer screens, e.g add a combo box to the method status bar allowing the developer to select a prior version of the method to see in the editor; or possibly use an overlay to display both the current and prior version of the source at the same time.
