The JADE 2022 release meets tomorrow’s business demands.
Historically, it was possible for controls to be deleted from a form but not all of the control's event methods were deleted. This has been fixed, but existing orphaned methods may occasionally cause schema load failures because the control is unknown. Can the compiler issue a warning or error message when such an orphan is detected? (See Jade contact 66982 in Parsys. This idea is intentionally similar to a following idea relating to certifiers.)
The orphaned methods were caused by an historical bug and once identified via the certifier and removed will no longer be a cause for concern. Therefore we have decided not to add a check to the compiler and we'll close this JEDI. Thanks for sending us your ideas. John R.
