Title

Enable Azure AD JWT Token Authentication for the Jade Platform

Description

As a Solution Architect working on client deployments of the Jade Platform, I need the ability to configure Azure AD JWT tokens as an authentication mechanism, so that enterprise clients can integrate the platform with their existing Microsoft Identity infrastructure without workarounds or uncertainty.

Preconditions

The client organization has an Azure AD tenant and wishes to use OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect with JWT tokens for authentication.

Trigger

A client requests authentication integration with Azure AD during onboarding or deployment.

Basic Flow

1. Solution Architect requests documentation or configuration guide for Azure AD JWT authentication.

2. Product team confirms whether Azure AD JWT is supported.

3. If supported, the team provides a clear, step-by-step configuration guide (e.g., tenant ID, client ID, scope setup, token validation).

4. Architect configures the platform and validates the integration.

Current Gap

• Unclear/no formal confirmation on whether Azure AD JWT authentication is supported.

• Product team lacks documented steps or implementation guidance.

• No sample configuration or troubleshooting guidance available.

Expected Outcome

• Clear yes/no statement on Azure AD JWT support.

• Published integration guide with configuration steps.

• A reference implementation or sample setup for validation.

• Internal product team enablement so support can confidently assist clients.
