You're right, that works, I guess the NFS is just for the built-in classes then. Brian Johnstone 19/04/2018 4:00:39 PM While this won't help with RootSchema defined classes, in Jade2016 when I hover the mouse over classes/properties/methods defined in our schemas I do get the details from the text which has been set for that class/property/method showing up in the tool tip in addition to the usual information. Similarly, when moving the selection on an autocomplete list or when within the parentheses of a method call, it shows the text for that class/property/method in additional to the usual information. I'd attach a screen shot showing this, but you can't put screen shots into a comment. Are you not seeing this behaviour in your Jade2016 environment? |
If we think about this, it kind of means we'd replicate (or move) the existing documentation into the IDE. Doable, but you can just press F1 on stuff.
Closing this due to current design limitations and an existing workaround in place.
