Public symbol server for released JADE binaries

It would be helpful if developers could point their diagnostic tools at a public symbol server rather than trying to maintain historical pdb repositories for debugging. Once a hotfix is superseded the prior version is hidden so pdb's become unavailable. And if you lose the original release files you can't re-download them. In an ideal world the pdb's would always be obtainable from a clients deployed system but this often isn't the case.

If you don't have a pdb (which are always released) then you would be able to automatically obtain it from the symbol server. If you are asking why a pdb would be useful then you have to ask yourself why are the correct Microsft pdb files useful, and why automatic access to them via a symbol server makes life easier. Having the correct pdbs makes it easier to analyse dumps, especially when you have to recreate the stack. There are systems where a variety of c, c++ and .net code executes above JADE.

Can you please give us a concrete example of how this would be useful?
