The JADE 2022 release meets tomorrow’s business demands.
I use dark themes and schemes for all software that supports it as I find it easier on my eyes after prolonged use. Much software allows for this these days. It would be helpful if Jade both supported a dark theme and allowed for a dark theme to be selected by default without having to manually define all of the individual element colours.
Thanks for that James, yes I'm just running into the same kind of issues you mention at the moment with several of our dialogs.
I have implemented a dark theme as much as I can as it seems to be a necessity in a light home brackground. Anyway. Something to be weary for the implementation: 1. The listbox foreground for F4 seems to be black. 2. Same issue for the Browse Patches when looking at the patches. 4. Summary of patches table heading is 3D border which doesn't go well with light text. 5. The highlight method in references obviously highlight which doesn't work when the foreground text is already light. 6. I recall when comparing method changes between versions the highlighting didn't work as the foreground text was also light.
Like this idea. If I am acessing multiple IDEs at same time (e.g. our DEV and customer TEST system) it would be handy to allocate different colour schemes so that there is no confusion which IDE is being worked on
Absolutely in favour of this. Nice to see I'm not alone in pushing for native dark theme support.
