Visual Studio has the concept of "Chords" which are a keyboard shortcut sequence. For example, Ctrl+K then Ctrl+D autoformats the current document. We should do the same, as it essentially expands the keyboard shortcut space exponentially.

An alternative solution to this problem: Add a macro language to the macro editor and make it easier to call individual macros with shortcut keys.
I'm not a big fan of this in VS - there are just too many shortcuts, I'll never remember them all. As it happens, for the specific example of Ctrl+K/Ctrl+D I added a toolbar button so I wouldn't have to remember it
