Add extract and load for options

I'm often getting copies of customer databases and using the IDE on them. It's frustrating not to be able to load up my options/preferences but have to manually set them each time. It would be great it they were able to be extracted to a text file and loaded into another environment.

Can the user prefs be loaded in batch mode?

Ah, I was unaware of that! Great, no need to implement this then! :)

Does Jade offer a way to import/export a developers profile either with a Jadescript/workspace or via the command line?
To be able to automate this would be a bonus for those of who regularly working in multiple bases that are constantly being 'refreshed' from a copy of another.

Which IDE preferences/options aren't already being included with the "Export Preferences..." and "Import Preferences..." buttons on the Miscellaneous tab of the IDE Preferences dialog?

Does Options | Preferences > "Miscellaneous" tab, "Import Preferences..." not do what you want? I use that option a lot when working on copies of client systems.

Hi, I think what you are after is already available. If you go to Options > Preferences - then go to the Miscellaneous tab you will see Import and Export preferences

This already exists - Options - Preferences - Miscellaneous tab, at the bottom there are Import Preferences and Export Preferences buttons

You can do this already, from the Miscellaneous tab of the Preferences.

Try the Miscellaneous Tab - it exports/imports pretty-well all your prefs.
