The JADE 2022 release meets tomorrow’s business demands.
Currently, the data pump halts and prevents the system from continuing if the SQL operation has failed. In some cases, this may be due to a bad virtual mapping (exceed the string limit). This would require a code fix on primary and rebuild to move past this. It would be good to have an option to skip a certain transaction (apply transaction in Jade DB, but ignore the SQL operation) and provide a log of what was skipped, for manual intervention.
No, it doesn't involve INSERTs at all. There is an emergency bypass mechanism for failing transactions, but it is intended for emergencies only.
I think we would be unlikely to make a GUI friendly way to do this because it's something you should never have to do in the first place. You should rarely, if ever, have to manually intervene in the operation of an rps node.
Hi Ty,
I think I may know the unpublished way (involves doing an INSERT command), but is there a way we can get a more GUI friendly way to do this on the RPS Manager. Especially with logs, when you have to continuously skip them.
